ColourPop Let’s Jet Glowing Lip ($7.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a darker coral with strong, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had medium pigmentation in one layer, which was buildable to semi-opaque coverage with a second pass. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and like a denser, more silicone-heavy balm–firm and not prone to “melting” upon contact but still very comfortable to apply and to wear. It wore nicely for four hours and felt hydrating over time.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have a "glowy" finish that is hydrating and gives buildable color with "buildable, glowy shine." They managed to feel more velvety and glide-on rather than melty and glossy, despite the end result having a moderate about of shine and glow. As a result, the formula was more like a balmy lipstick than a glossy lip balm.

The coverage ranged from semi-sheer to semi-opaque but were generally in the more medium, buildable range, which was in line with the brand's marketing. They were fruity in scent but had no discernible taste. The shades applied evenly, felt comfortable to wear, and typically lasted three to four hours with moderate hydrating.

It had semi-sheer color coverage that was buildable to semi-opaque pigmentation with two to three layers. The texture was lightweight, thin without being clingy, and had more of a velvety glide-on feel so while it looked quite emollient, it didn’t slide around readily. It lasted well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
