Laura Mercier Rose Thorn Caviar Stick Laura Mercier Rose Thorn Caviar Stick ($29.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a darker plum with subtle, warm brownish undertones and flecks of gold sparkle over a satin sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which did not build up or layer as well as other shades. As I blended the color out, it sometimes clumped up in places and really spider-webbed through the texture of my skin. The color stayed on decently for eight and a half hours before creasing.

Laura Mercier Strike a Rose Caviar Stick Laura Mercier Strike a Rose Caviar Stick ($29.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark rose copper with warm undertones and a pearly sheen with faint sparkle. It had opaque pigmentation with a smooth, lightly emollient texture that glided readily across my skin. The product applied evenly and remained blendable whether I used it directly from the tube or with a fingertip. It lasted nicely for nine hours before fading a bit.

It had rich color payoff in one stroke, which adhered evenly to bare skin and was blendable along the edges. The texture was emollient, lightweight, and thin without being clingy. It wore well for eight and a half hours before creasing noticeably.
