Beachy

Beachy is a light-medium peach with a warmer, more orange-coral base and brighter, golden shimmer throughout. It had mostly opaque color coverage that applied well to bare skin as the texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too thick or too loosely-pressed into the pan. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview

$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Hula Hoop

Hula Hoop is a bright, medium orange with strong, warmer undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was blendable and not too powdery. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview

$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing." The way the Pressed Pigments differ is that they're not intended for usage on the immediate eye area.

The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blend out fairly well, and can sometimes be a bit drier/more powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear eight to nine hours on me before fading, but many shades in the Pressed Pigment family leave some staining behind.

Itsy Bitsy

Itsy Bitsy is a medium-dark orange with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was easily built up to full coverage. The texture was soft, smooth, and slightly thin but not to the point where it had a negative impact on application as the product went on evenly and blended out well. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.

Sand Castle

Sand Castle is a medium orange with moderate, warm undertones and lighter, warmer gold shimmer throughout. It had opaque color coverage that adhered evenly to my lid and blended out with ease. The consistency was moderately dense but yielding enough to pick up well with a dry brush and not have fallout. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
