Propa Beauty Finesse Luminous Satin Lipstick ($12.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light, peachy brown with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had medium, buildable coverage–to mostly opaque–that applied fairly evenly and smoothly across my lips without dragging.

The texture was lightly emollient, but it had a touch of tackiness that helped it adhere and stay in place despite having a shinier finish. There was very little color in my deeper lip lines, which was only visible in the close-up photo but not in person. It wore well for three and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating on me.

Formula Overview

$12.00/0.12 oz. - $100.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have "sheer-to-full buildable color coverage" with a "luminous" finish. Most shades had more medium, buildable coverage, though a few shades were more semi-sheer and a few were more semi-opaque (and buildable). They were more pigmented than they were sheer, though. The more emollient quality of the texture made it easier to diffuse with a fingertip for truly sheer coverage if desired.

The consistency was lightweight, thin, and had good adhesion, so a touch clingy (but not in a bad way!) despite having a little more slip and noticeable shine. Most shades applied evenly, didn't settle into my lip lines or emphasize my natural texture, and were comfortable to wear. They lasted between three to five hours and felt lightly hydrating over time. There was a very faint sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Propa Beauty Victress Luminous Satin Lipstick ($12.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, caramel brown with subtle, warm reddish undertones and a natural finish. It appeared more red-toned when applied to my lips than swatched (which read yellower to my eye). It had semi-sheer to medium, buildable coverage that applied evenly to my lips.

The consistency was lightweight, thin but not clingy, and comfortable to apply and to wear. There was a smidgen of product in my deeper lip lines but not enough that it was visible in person. It stayed on well for four hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Propa Beauty Made It Luminous Satin Lipstick ($12.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium orange with warmer, yellower undertones and a satin finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, which was a little more coverage than marketed (it had to be deliberately sheered out).

The texture felt lightweight, lightly emollient with a touch of tackiness, which helped it retain some shine but not slide around during wear. It could have applied more evenly, as it was a little streaky along the edges and had a touch of product that settled into my deeper lip lines. It was just barely noticeable in person. This shade lasted nicely for four hours and felt lightly hydrating while worn.
