Sephora Leo (93) Lipstories Lipstick Sephora Leo (93) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a deep berry with cool undertones and a satin finish. The texture felt smooth, more velvety and somewhat dense (without being too firm), which applied comfortably across my lips in a single pass. It had rich color payoff that adhered evenly to my lips and stayed in place well for six hours. The formula felt neither drying nor hydrating over time.

The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.

The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.

Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

Sephora Virgo (94) Lipstories Lipstick Sephora Virgo (94) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a soft, peachy coral with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly across my lips, but there was subtle streaking along the outer edge of my lips and color in my deeper lip lines that was visible in the close-up photo.

Thankfully, neither were noticeable in person (from a normal viewing distance). The consistency had a fair amount of slip, which was the likely culprit, though it was comfortable to wear. It lasted for three hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Sephora Libra (95) Lipstories Lipstick Sephora Libra (95) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark, plummy-brown base with flecks of copper and gold pearl throughout. The consistency felt smooth, lightweight, and had moderate slip without being too slippery, so it had decent adhesion but was still very comfortable to apply and to wear. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly and didn’t emphasize my lip texture. It wore well for four and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.
