 A big hello to all the lovely ladies reading this!

We all know how important it is to use a good sunscreen, it protects your skin from harmful rays, prevents brown spots, slows down aging/prevents the formation of wrinkles and age spots...The list goes on.

But we usually tend to skip it, especially ladies with oily/combination skin as we dread the white/grey cast the traditional sunscreens to leave on our face making us look like international cricketers!!!

Not a very flatter look with our coral lipstick!!

I was one of the few who dreaded wearing sunscreen as it made look grey and oily in no time..there was just no way I could carry it off..

However in the last 1 year or so there have been newer, more evolved sunscreens in the markets that are better suited for various skin types!!

Lotus had an older version of the gel sunscreen...but this seems to be a new and improved version of it! 

Before we dive into the review...let us understand a few basics of sunscreen and skincare.

This sunscreen does come with a super sturdy, bright orange, travel-friendly packaging that does not leak one bit..even when it is in my giant handbag/roller-coaster. Full points on this aspect!

This gel is a pale grey/whitish color and has a liquid Vaseline type texture...which does almost immediately get absorbed into the skin...in like an instant!

This is great cause it not only saves time(No blending required) but also means that there won't is any grayish cast to it!!

*You know the feeling ladies when something magically melts into your skin and you feel that you have not put anything at all but have a tiny satisfaction of doing good to your skin!*

Agree!agree!agree! to most points at least!

This sunscreen comes with an SPF 50+, PA+++, UVA, and UVB protection which is all good but I am not very sure if it is broad-spectrum which is a back point :(

The sunscreen has a light vanilla-flowery-nutty smell that goes away in a few minutes. I really did like the fragrance as it is not overwhelming and thankfully does not have an artificial/synthetic smell to it...

Yaaay!! Yaay!!Yaaay!!

- It does what it promises.

-It is perfect for ladies with oily/combination skin.

-Absorbs easily.

- Matt, nongreasy finish.

-It had SPF 50.

-Both UVA and UVB protection.

-Does not leave any type of cast.

- Pleasant fragrance.

Oh no :(

-It is not a broad spectrum

-It is not waterproof/sweatproof

Overall-9/10

Finally,

Finding the right sunscreen can be tough, especially for people with oily skin...But this one from Lotus seems to be doing a great job and I am really in love with it. This may be THE sunscreen for me.
